Yakima's Viper bike mount has a rugged die-cast head that easily accepts and securely grips almost every quick-release fork, even those with disc brakes. Rubber straps used to secure bikes to Yakima hitch and strap racks manufactured prior to 2004. Each strap has 5 holes which are 3/4" in diameter. Since 2004 we have used rubber straps called Chain Straps, which each have 8 holes that are 1/2" in diameter.

Thule's Snug-Tite Receiver Lock secures their T2, Doubletrack, Roadway, and Parkway receiver-type racks (also called "hitch racks"). Just insert the Snug-Tite in place of your receiver pin and the rack is locked in place.

If you’re riding a 20/110mm front hub, you have two options for mounting to a SeaSucker rack: use a somewhat-more-expensive Fork Up adapter, or use their dedicated 20mm fork mount. The 20mm fork mount is bolt-on and is meant for riders who are always using their rack with their thru-axle bike.
