Cervelo P2 Frameset
$899.99 $1,800.00 50% Savings
Cervelo built their fame on the principles of superior aerodynamic design, so it's no surprise that their P2 is so fast it has won the Ironman Kona and about every other time trial and triathlon out there. Its leading edge, from the slender fork blades to the hourglass head tube carve through the wind with ease. And as the air moves over the P2's gorgeous carbon it finds little resistance in the wing-like airfoil tubes, the smooth bottom-bracket transition, the deep rear-wheel cutout, or even the contoured seatstays and chainstays. Even more speed can be found in the internal cable routing to the hyper-sleek seatmast as you blaze to a new PR. Meanwhile, Cervelo's refined geometry and two-position seatpost let you dial-in the perfect clock-crushing position. And of course, this frameset also meets Cervelo's stringent performance requirements so it channels the power from the pistons you call legs like nothing you've ridden before.
Cervelo P2 Ultegra
$1,399.99 $2,499.99 44% Savings
Cervelo started their company based on wind-tunnel test data so it's no surprise their super-aero P2 almost totally hides from the wind. Nearly invisible when viewed from the front, this full-carbon time-saving machine hides the rear wheel with a shaped cutout and features internal cable routing throughout resulting in one slippery bike. Its chainstays and seatstays stay close to the center of the bike, only flaring out when necessary, to stay hidden from the wind as long as possible. Included is a reversible seatpost that lets you dial-in the perfect clock-crushing position, while a Cervelo carbon fork keeps the steering precise and confident. This slick sled is built to win, too, with aero bars and stem from 3T to get you in a wind-cheating position for minimal drag, and Shimano's precise shifting Dura-Ace/Ultegra components so you can blaze through the gears. Get ready to set new PRs!

Cervelo R3 Disc Ultegra 6800
$1,999.99 $3,800.00 47% Savings
Cervélo doesn’t embrace new technology just because it’s available and popular. Integrating disc brakes into the Tour de France-winning R3 meant a lot more than simply slapping them on. Cervelo S3 Ultegra
$2,999.99 $4,000.00 25% Savings
Cervélo offers up the S3 in two flavors, reflecting the divide on components these days. The Shimano Ultegra bike is the choice for people looking for lighter weight, less thinking, greater confidence shifting sheaved in heavy gloves, an even better bargain. Shimano Ultegra 6800 eleven-speed is a great group. The differences between it and the top-of-the-line Dura-Ace 9000 are pretty small. The shifting and braking both have been dramatically improved, with a lighter touch yielding greater response, and better ergonomics making everything easier to hold and actuate. The departure from the group comes mainly at the crank. The Rotor 3DF BBright 52/36 is specified because it is not only stiffer and lighter than just about anything on the market, but also because it utilizes the BBright thru-axle standard that Cervélo pioneered with Rotor. Larger diameter shell allows for a 30mm spindle, which is lighter and stiffer than a 24mm spindle. And the wider dimension yields even more system stiffness as well as allowing for more manipulation of carbon-fiber to improve frame strength, stiffness, and aerodynamics. That it's so wide helps with the aero transitions you see in the down tube. The fatter shape with the flatter trailing edge at the bottom helps the water bottles (you ride with water bottles, so Cervélo tested with water bottles) act as part of the aero shaping. The BBright is of a piece with the 1 1/8" to 1 3/8" tapered steerer that the fork employs. Both are early fruits of Cervélo's Project California, which initially yielded the R5ca. The tapered steerer, when combined with the right head tube and fork crown, results in a bike with greater lateral front-end stiffness and still with an excellent ride feel. The bike is 16% laterally stiffer than the previous S3, which means it's easier than ever to corner. Another fruit of Cervélo's work on other frames are the S3's thin seat stays. These might sacrifice a bike to aerodynamics, but offer a huge improvement in comfort thanks to their ability to better deal with road vibrations. And, as with the rest of the Cervélo line, the S3 is sized with a great emphasis on stack and reach dimensions. Cervélo tried to take the fog surrounding frame sizes away by analyzing body dimensions. The result is a frame lineup that gets progressively taller and longer, so it's easier to find a frame that fits you, be you long-legged or long-torsoed. The S3 also comes with internal Future Proof cable routing. Internal for an aero frame is a given; exposed cables add drag. But future-proofing is another story. The internal cable stops for the mechanical brake and shift systems can be pulled and replaced with plugs for hydraulic brakes and electronic shifting. For the shifting, you'll also have to pull the plugs in place for the wires to exit, and mount a battery. The battery mounts are already installed at the bottom of the down tube. The Cervélo S3 Ultegra Bike offers an aero bike for self-sponsored racers that competes against the best on a budget.

Speed within reach. The new P3 is designed around the new aerodynamic benchmarks set by the P5. The new P3 has significant advantages over its predecessor, namely the dropped down tube and integrated fork for optimal aero benefits and the extended rear wheel cut out for a smoother transition of air flow. The oversize BBRight bottom bracket improves torsional stiffness in the drivetrain for more power to the pedals. The stack height defined by the headtube height has been extended to accommodate more riders and aero positions. The most decorated tri bike of all time only gets better.

$3,899.99 $5,000.00 22% Savings
any difference. The R3 frameset, in its previous iteration, was used at Paris-Roubaix, as recently as 2013. This version is a step up from that one. Thanks to the RCA, the same technology has been applied to this frame. You've got the tapered steerer going from 1 1/8" at the top to 1 3/8" below. That alone makes the head tube 24% stiffer, which is hugely important for the lateral plane—think sprinting out of the saddle and cornering. You'll need less energy to turn the bars and less to hold them straight. The bottom bracket, highlighted by the BBright standard is 8% stiffer for more forward force from the same legs. The tubing, if it's right to call them that, is Squoval 3, a more aerodynamic iteration of the Squoval 2 of the previous R3, which will save seven watts. And while it looks as if the R3 has been designed for electronic shifting, it actually has internal routing for both electronic and mechanical shifting as well as electronic and hydraulic braking. All you have to do is change the plugs to stops and the ports to plugs. Shimano's Ultegra Di2 6870 eleven-speed shifting is great—and is also race at the World Tour, albeit a bit under the radar. Small hoods, light touch buttons, and long life on a charge. It's mated to an eleven-speed 11-25 cassette and Rotor's 3DF BBright 52/36 semi-compact crankset with a beefy 30mm thru-axle for even greater drive train efficiency. The crank offers up both a huge big gear and a small low gear and twenty steps in between. Finding a Cervélo that fits has gotten easier. While they follow a modern convention by using top tube size as the name, they really focus on other dimensions, which can be quantified by stack and reach numbers, to get a more precise sense of how to fit a Cervélo. This way, it's easier to figure out what size, as each size is longer and taller than the previous. Rounding out the bike are the Fulcrum Racing 5.5 wheels. They benefit from similar thinking about design, from the oversize hubs for stiffness, asymmetric rim profile in the back for balancing out spoke tension, and from differential rim heights to balance the needs of front and rear wheels. The Cervélo R3 Ultegra Di2 Bike is a pro bike for everyday riders.
